I'm sure that there is plenty of work being done covertly--as it should be--to deal with the real threats. But it's difficult not to notice that that the recent well-publicized interventions have all been orchestrated by our covert agencies themselves? It's quite clear that this is propaganda meant to keep us fearful and willing to give up liberties for safety.
