ribit, Hear ya. Imo, the Republicans should focus on key issues like small government, creating jobs other than paving roads, and national security, including immigration. Forget issues like abortion and gays. They can improve on the abortion issue around the periphery, like tightening the requirements (no late term abortions, for example).

...liberals are winning because they will take the most liberal candidate they can get elected. It's gradualism. We seem to have an "all or nothing" attitude amongst conservatives and the end result of that is usually "nothing".
