B, A good summary of the situation. I am not exactly hopeful, but will be pleasantly surprised if he comes through. Clearly it's not as if he won't try, but will he deliver? We'll find out, since the aternative is destruction under the 'bummer.

Linda,

I believe Romney being able to (or him even wanting to) "grow into the Reagan mold" is wishful thinking on an epic scale. I trust Romney as far as I can toss an office building, but resigning the country to four more years of Obama's destructive policies and federal court nominations is tantamount to immediate national suicide. Since the statists running the GOP do everything they can to prevent the recurrence of another Ronald Reagan getting their party's nomination, it is very tempting to take one's ball home and tell the GOP to suffer the victory of a demonstrably Marxist failure, such as Obama, whom any person chosen off the street should be able to beat. It truly would serve the RINO bastards right, but (1) they're too pig-headed to even recognize that they did it to themselves, and (2) we would truly be cutting off our nose to spite our face. So, I will keep my nose on my face (so I can hold it when I vote), vote for squishy Romney, and hope that, after he wins a four-year stay in The White House, Conservatives can push Romney along a path that is more Reagan-like.

B.
