B, I can't disagree on any of that. My initial reaction on Romney wasn't favorable. But someone who's view I respect thinks he could grow into the Reagan mold. I don't know, I think both parties have gone south. Very hard to create a new one, but how does one do house cleaning in such a system as we've got. No one knows what's going on behind the scenes...

I don't have high hopes for Romney at all ... other than to be a little better, hopefully less destructive alternative in The White House than the anti-American, Marxist, piece-o'-shite that is currently squatting there. Unfortunately, as in recent elections past, we are not being given much of a choice from the aspect of positives - the completely incompetent, America-hating Obama has no positive qualities and Romney is a milquetoast RINO with no core values ... in other words, basically your garden variety Democrat. However, from the aspect of negative qualities, there is a little more separation between Obama and Romney - Romney has far fewer negatives than the buffoon, Obama ... but, of course, anything north of a slug is a far better candidate than Obama.
