Yeah, back in the early to mid-seventies, I saw Jerry Jeff Walker in concert. It didn't take him long to get going, and once he did, it was a great concert, but ... when he first came on stage, he was so drunk or stoned ... or both ... that his guitar, which was hanging in front of him from a neckstrap, was flipped with the strings against his stomach and turned the wrong way (neck of the guitar was to his right instead of to his left). He was so out of it that he was struggling to figure out how to get his guitar in a position to play it. Finally, after a few minutes of fumbling and bumbling, one of the other band members put down his instrument, walked over, took the guitar off of him, turned it around, and put it back on him. After he got rearranged, the light switch got turned on. I hear Jerry Jeff has been sober for a long, long time, now.
