Someone tried to buy a couple of hundred buck worth of flowers somewhere in the mid-west with my card. Interesting that the only thing listed on the net was the names, emails and unusable passwords.

I hope that's the end of it, I'm surprised no one took down the list on the 'net, which could compound affravation.

Also missing from your list is the entry that Occam's Razor demands be included. The Stratfor hack was most likely (IMO) a crime perpetrated for the value of the credit-card information rather than with (geo)political motivation.

I spoke with representatives at Discover's security department regarding an unrelated matter. They were aware of the Stratfor hack and told me that stolen card numbers that had been used for Stratfor subs were being used for small transactions. This indicates that the stolen data has been circulating among credit-card fraudsters.
