I've ALWAYS seen 'both' sides, Linda. Note my earlier commentary where I clearly opined that RP is naive about the threat that Islam poses for our civilization.

I cringed when I heard the comment that was quoted as I watched the debates, and I thought that the article laid out the facts very nicely.

Every candidate is deeply flawed. I continue to support Ron Paul because he is still the only one who truly understands our financial plight. I don't think he's gonna be the nominee, but I will cheer him all the way to the podium in Tampa to get his Constitutional agenda heard.

Glad you are seeing both sides now. RP seems so clueless on our conflicts at times like this. He hears what he wants to hear, apparently, missing the obvious that AM puts forth so well.

Andy could take the Taliban/alQ relationship a step further:

"By quite consciously accommodating and protecting an international terrorist organization that was at war with the United States, the Taliban joined al-Qaeda and became an enemy of the United States." -- AM

The Taliban was not merely providing sanctuary to al Qaeda, they became co-conspirators and took direction from al Qaeda's strategy. The Taliban was guided by and assumed al Qaeda's ideology, including the goal of forwarding Sharia, a goal shared by the BOF Saudis, which AM mentioned.

It's become more than guilt by assotiation...
