Let's not forget one non-disclosed fact in that chart either.

MANY of those countries listed don't have prison populations because they do with murderers and thieves what the U.S. will not do: they bury them, therefore not spending all kinds of money to house and feed and clothe, and entertain them. Heck, I was seriously thinking about having my own children commit some second or third degree crime so they could go to the State prison and get a free tax payer paid college education. What a gig!

Perhaps if prisons were all run like Sheriff Joe's I and every crook knew that was what they were going to get if caught, I suspect the freaking crime rate would drop like a rock.

Same for Murders and homicides.

Public hangings and executions by firing squad would be cheap and a great deterrent.

Crime rates would go down. Less money needed for prisons, and police forces. Less finance needed for city, state and Federal governments.

No sir, the USA is a SISSY country when it comes to giving a criminal what they deserve or a murderous thug.

I like the model in the middle east and even Russia.

The cost of one single lead bullet or a piece of hemp rope. Pretty cheap and very efficient.

Just my humble opinion. YMMV.

Due,
in your opinion, who should we let out of the prisons and do you have a problem with whoever it is moving right next door to be your neighbor?
