Actually, I heard the Gorenc quote prior.

Then you are equating calling off the exercise with calling off the attack on Iran. I don't think that necessarily follows. But it could be reinforcing the wise premise that Iran should attack first, that we should be provoked and respond.

My point is calling off the exercise could be meaningless. Who needs an exercise? And if it were really happening, I wouldn't use the Israelis on the attack, I'd let them address any problems coming out of Hezbollah in Lebanon, Gaza, etc., while we address the main target.

One item I thought interesting was Turkey's cutting off Iranian shipments to Syria and the US intent to aid Lebanon with its borders. Then, another country stopped a ship with arms.

Are we going after Syria or not? I missed the 60 Minutes segment on Syria with the head of Qatar, who I assume was pushing military action. Maybe the strategy there is just to bleed them of arms to stop the killing. Or prep for more.

(Ahem)...one more time.

Although the exercise in which they were to have participated was billed as testing multiple Israeli and US air and missile defense systems, the exercise's commander, US Third Air Force Lt. Gen. Frank Gorenc, announced that the event was more a "deployment" than an "exercise."
