I caught this interview last night...the only time I turned up the sound for the Iowa farce.

In general, the Iowa Caucus is insignificant--less than one-half percent of the total electorate and a tiny fraction of delegates. Its only useful to thin the field of candidates as the losers give up the ghost.
Ron Paul's game is becomming apparent now...he doesn't really expect to be chosen as the Republican candidate. The real purpose of his candidacy is to bring Constitutional considerations and sound fiscal policy to the forefront as part of the Republican platform. All the rest, especially the third-party speculation, is so much noise.
