ribit, I guess it would depend on just what they do. If they form a line of little boats, I'd run over them. If they blow up a ship or two in the channel, I'd respond more dramatically.

Bottom line is you're right, can't give them a free pass or it gets worse and worse, like al Qaeda did over time.

...I dunno what the world is gonna do about Iran and it's Nukes, but if we let em close down "international waters" over there, what will we do if they try to shut down the panama canal? IMHO, any attempt to close down the straits of hormuz or any other should be treated as piracy
