Thanks Linda!
Right on the money!
I was in a nursing home last Sunday holding a small Christmas service for the residents there.
We had 42 people who came. The people are lonely and want attention. Like anyone else.
I played Christmas hymns for them on my alto sax for about 20 minutes. I went around and spoke to every person there, hugged them, and wished them a Merry Christmas.
A wonderful ministry for the "forgotten" people.
Those are very sad places to me.
To me, the best part of that letter was to simply ACT like YOU are one of HIS all the time.
Jesus told us to "Let our LIGHT so shine before men that they may see our good works and glorify our Father which is in heaven."
Thanks for sharing! It was wonderful!
