The real thing to learn is very simple.
As there are a few of us jarheads around here, for B&E or home invasion, just keep a loaded semi automatic with a couple spare clips close at hand.
30 rounds fired at said invaders should be more than adequate. Prefer hollow points and high grains for slower speeds so they do more damage and don't just pass thru the body.
Most of these thugs do not expect the homeowner to be armed and know how to fire a weapon at them.
For close up shooting I prefer 9 mm semi-auto.
A little more area and a pump shotgun is a good choice. Every moron knows the sound of a pump shotgun.
Run or be blown to bits.
