This, after Hamas set up bases there! Does this mean Egypt broke the peace treaty?

Egyptians pull out troops from Sinai

Uncensored News from Israel

The Egyptian command has begun partial withdrawal of the 11,000 troops stationed in Sinai to suppress the riots plaguing major Egyptian towns. The withdrawal marks the end of the anti-terrorist campaign in Sinai, which in any case has borne no fruit.

The Sinai gas pipeline was recently sabotaged for the eighth time. Hamas established rocket assembly facilities in the peninsula, where they are protected from Israeli strikes. Islamist militias operate freely in Sinai, and Bedouins smuggle thousands of African illegals into Israel per month.

We had a lesser problem with Sinai before 1967, when we could strike it at will.
