You've got to be kidding. A land grab? Nonsense.
The land from the Jordan to the Mediterranean was mandated to the Jews for a Jewish state, the rest of Palestine was given to the Arabs and named TransJordan, now Jordan. It was very clear. Palestine was split, Arab and Jew.
Then, Egypt took Gaza and Jordan took the West Bank via war. Israel took them back during the next war. Then, Israel said to themselves, what do we want these territories for? They asked Egypt and Jordan to take them back. They refused. End of story.
Everything else is spin, Have you ever heard of psych ops or propaganda? The Palestinians are great at it.
The Palestinians thing is one big fraud.
There was NEVER an Arab state in Palestine. The Arabs were recent immigrants to Palestine from Arabia and such. The Jews were indigenous residents for 4,000 years.
