Here is the essence of the OWS movement's failure:

“The Bill of Rights says that we should peacefully assemble if we have grievances, and we do. The grievances are the complete degradation of society through mass in equality. The rich getting richer, the poor getting poorer. The privatization of profits but the nationalization of loss. The complete ignorance, ignorance, or mass lack of attention that there are other economies, this mass Wall Street economy is the only one that actually gets talked about and they gamble freely. Speculators are not good for society, ever society in the world has had problems with speculators and we are having ours right now. There has been so much wrong done by the one percent that I am actually glad that they are screwing up so badly.”

The speaker clearly blames the so-called '1%'--the rich, the speculators, etc. It doesn't occur to her that it is the Federal (and state) government/bureaucracy that enables the very inequality she so vehemently protests.

Changing gears...

Where is the Republican convention next year? I have a feeling that the OWS movement (driven by the unions and Democrat elite) will turn the event into a violent replay of Chicago 1968.
