Bomb Explodes at Occupy Maine Campsite

Full story here, excerpts below

The Occupy Maine campsite was rocked by an explosion in the early morning hours on Sunday October 23rd resulting in two Occupy supporters being slightly injured.

A homemade chemical bomb was thrown into Lincoln Park in Portland Maine by a passing vehicle early Sunday morning. Lincoln Park is currently occupied by about thirty tents and around thirty five full time campers of the Occupy Maine movement. The chemical bomb exploded in the heart of the camp releasing fumes and causing mass confusion in the camp. No arrests have been made; however, the charges are no joke as the incident is being viewed as an act of terrorism.

Points to consider:

Police say as of this time no arrests have been made; however the incident is being viewed as an act of terrorism. Consider that some see confusion in the overall Occupation message and as the Occupation movement grows in size and scope each individual Occupation site is starting to wear on the patience of local inhabitants, which may lead to misguided fringe elements in society to take action.
