Snow wasn't forecast for your area, but we got hammered here in NW 'Jersey. Got 8-9" of heavy, wet white oobleck. Sounded like a war zone last night as tree limbs snapped under the load. Branches and trees down all over; roads closed, powerlines down, etc. We lost power about 8pm last night and it was restored about 5pm today. I had the generator going for a few hours this morning to keep the fridge cold and to charge batteries, expecting that we were in for a few days without service. I was firing up the woodstove when the electrics came back on. Wicked weather.
