I called to folks at comcast to get my internet service way back. Their guy came out and hooked it all up and said it should start working as soon as they programmed it in the office. That was on Friday afternoon. Monday morning it still wasn't working. I called em and they started running me around to check this and that and I told em the guy who put it in left the house without it working. They assured me that was impossible. Anyway I wound up putting their cable and modem thingy in a sack and taking it back to em and tellin em to stick it where the sun don't shine. They still billed me for the installation even though it never worked. Now the sumbitches is advertising about people stealing cable equipment and that if we see anyone we should report it. If I see anyone stealing their crap, I will help em load their truck.

I've been offline since Friday night. Centurylink finally restored my service this afternoon after a customer service nightmare. It was a bad port on their server, but 6 different morons insisted that it was the wiring here in the house. If I heard "did you try another telephone cable" one more time I was gonna take a chainsaw to the pole.

Anyway, I'm back and will try to catch up.
