I was intrigued by the Paterson, NJ connection. The Great Falls there are second only to Niagara in the East and an obvious source of power.

The raceway and power system, constructed from 1792 to 1864, was the first major water power system in the United States. The project, conceived by Alexander Hamilton in 1791 and designed by Pierre Charles L'Enfant, engineer-planner of the Capitol, and Peter Colt is the basis of the oldest American community integrating water power, industrial development, and urban planning.

If Americans didn't have the mindset that FEMA will always be there to rescue them, more Americans would have full insurance coverage on their homes.

Hey, AMERICA - wake up - whether you are depending on the 'feds' to always rescue you -or- you are depending on an 'insurance company' to rescue you - YOU HAVE IT WRONG.

Both ways are going to bankrupt your ass.

But, of course, spamalot doesn't care about that because his ultimate motto is: "Caveat Emptor" - which he translates as "If you're such a dumbschitt that you buy my line of crap - you deserve what you get."

Interesting possibility on martial law - but, considering the source, barely worth reading.
