Linda, you're once again misinformed. Legalizing drugs would have the effect of diminishing crime as it would eliminate the grip of the cartels and gangs on its distribution. The repeal of alcohol prohibition ended the violent crime spree of gangland and it didn't create a nation of drunks.

You have 'druggies' around you now, but you don't have to worry about folks lighting up funny cigarettes in NYC because smoke is smoke and Bloomberg won't have it.
