no problem - My very firm view is that 99% of what the Federal Government does is illegal - strictly prohibited by the United States Constitution.

Thinking about 're-engineering', or revamping, or making things better has reached the point that it is a major irritant to me - for the simple reason ... it's been tried before, and has always failed - even when declared to be a success. Prime Example: "Contract with America".

The problem is too much centralization of power. As Due observes - other than throwing the whole thing out - I don't see any way of improving the situation.

Way too many 'pockets being lined' involved.

The system is TOTALLY CORRUPTED - and can not be 'remedied' without eliminating the source of the problem - Government doing things - having usurped the power to do those things. Preventing that is for which the Constitution was designed; limits, structure, and balances - that have been disappearing and are, today, almost totally absent - or perverted beyond any semblance of recognizability.

As Brother Bill says, the first step is admitting that we have a problem, and that it is beyond our control.

It truly is time for revolution - hopefully peaceful - but that is highly improbable.
