I agree with Linda.
The freaking CONGRESS is directly responsible for the Social Security monetary mess and they need to have their feet held to the fire to replace the money they stole from it.
The PEOPLE need to hear that and vocalize it loud and clear so every democrap and republican hear it loudly, succinctly, and definitely with clarity.
The dog and pony show going on currently will not do it.
Biehner apparently did not have the courage to stad and fight for real reductions, that include trillions in ONE fiscal year as opposed to over ten years.
Let's do the math.
1.5 trillion over ten years equals how much per year?
150 billion per year?
And our annual deficit is WHAT and our national debt is WHAT?
Oh, that 150 billion is really going to be significant isn't it?
I am feeling that the vast majority of politicians are nothing short of pond scum who haven't a clue and don't want to do what is right.
Fixing social security is actually easy.
Put the damn money back into it, period.
You cut our one third the federal government and take some of that savings and put it back where it belongs and then use the rest of it to pay off the debt and when that is done, start building some surpluses.
Gee, that was hard.
I am disappointed in John and I have let him know as much. It is time to take the gloves off and smack these dems right in the mouth and let them know WE are in charge of the House of Representatives and the majority of voters are with us!
SO let's start acting like we are in charge and bring the heat to the Senate and the White House without any reserve.
