I received an email from an extremely enthusiastic reader who just swears up and down that Rush AND Rick Perry are getting their talking points from me. Um, I kinda doubt that, BUT I am tickled, tickled, tickled that pretty much everyone outside of Obama, Hoffa and Maxine Waters are now openly discussing the fact that Social Security is a straight-up Ponzi Scheme. Praise God.
The next step is to discuss the SOLUTION. And there is a solution, and it is absurdly simple. Someone just has to have the balls to SAY WHAT IT IS.
Social Security and Medicare MUST be SUNSETTED.
It is that simple.
Here is a two-part YouTube I recorded on June 20, 2011. It has has a few thousand views. Let's see if we can get the essential concept and meme of SUNSETTING these Ponzi schemes out into the broad conversation.
Sunsetting WILL happen. The only question is, will we do it voluntarily and in a controlled manner, or will it happen involuntarily and thus violently? One, two. Those are the choices. In order to do it voluntarily, we have to A.) acknowledge that we have to do it in the first place, and B.) start TALKING OPENLY ABOUT IT.
