B, it got worse -- Palestinians are going to the Security Council for statehood. Saudis and Jordanians said US risks becoming toxic in the Arab world and forcing a split with Saudi Arabia.

I can't visualize a good outcome from all this. This is the ultimate rock and hard place.

"According to a report, Turkish navy echelons decided that if one of its ships crosses paths with an Israeli vessel outside of the latter's territorial waters, it will be instructed to come within 100 meters of the ship and neutralize its weapons system."

So, simply if a Turkish naval vessel comes into contact with an Israeli naval vessel in international waters, the Turkish vessel is authorized ... nay, instructed (i.e., ordered) ... to attack the Israeli vessel without provocation and neutralize its weapons systems ... is that it? And these Turkish sailors ... they expect the Israeli sailors will stand on deck, do nothing, and watch the Turks sail right up to them and demolish their ship, eh?
