micro, isn't Outlook difficult to backup, due to security and have limits on disk space? Always surprised me that Outlook was less advanced in many ways than Express, except for things like the calendar.

Two of them.

You can run Thunderbird which works quite well with windows 7 and easily sets up OR
do you happen to have Office 2003 or higher? If so, you can run Outlook which is what I use at home as well at the plant.

Give Thunderbird a shot though. My wife uses it and she was a Outlook Express used for years and like you, we switched over to windows 7 and there went Outlook Express. She has adapted to Thunderbird quite nicely.

If she can, I know you can.

You get that at Mozilla.
