Dear Friend of the Washington Times:
What makes a nation great?
Ten years ago, on a clear, sunny morning much like today, America's spirit, strength and courage was tested.
The Washington Times has created a special tribute to the patriotism shown by fellow countrymen through what would become some of the darkest hours in American history. We know that freedom has a price; today, however, we celebrate.

The great sacrifices made by the heroes of 911 and by all of our nation's greatest heroes throughout history, are not in vain. It is the courageous hearts and lives of these, our fellow countrymen, that make America the great nation and inspiration that she is.
We hope that you enjoy this special salute to the fallen heroes of 911, and to the spirit of our great nation--still alive, still thriving, in the heart of every American today.
God Bless America.
