Yep. Like I wrote earlier...this is where Obama will show his colors. 'Leading from behind' ain't gonna cut it this time. We also get to see who in Congress stands up for Israel in the face of their most existential threat since 1948.

I wonder if there is any US naval movement ongoing--repositioning carriers, etc.

If this blows up, it could be the black swan that triggers a global financial meltdown.

Due, good idea to talk to West. You would think the uncertainty of a revolutionary transition would be sufficient cause to defer such purchases. I think it could come to a head this month, as the Iranians, et. al., attempt to incite everyone, re the palestinian state iseue. Around this fiasco, there could be further grounds.

On the flip side, what they're balancing is cutting off an entry into Egypt. Already, they've pledged billions...

I guess the whole freakin' region's a balancing act. Oil sales for Islam.
