LOL - those tracks, and certain minds following ruts ...

You beat me to it .... again.

Was going to state it on the order of PROPER separation of State from Church (note the deliberate, and more precise wording of that mini-synopsis) - that the STATE can NEVER be trusted to teach even one damn thing about religion - and what's more - the U.S. Constitution (and the Texas Constitution) forbid same.

Due took the gander goose sauce approach to the same 'little problem'.

BTW: The only 'comment' on Ace's post at the time of my reading worthy of the effort to read it was this:

20,000,000 words to say you effed up

Narcissistic Pontificatin' self-justifyin' angels on a pinhead dancing. Geller's post had some EXTREMELY valid critiques in it - primary amongst them :

Islam is NOT a 'religion of peace' and their own freakin' gospel declares that BIG TIME - irrespective of what all the apologists, and other 'pcbullshitpushers' attempt to spin.

I found the sanctimony by Ace in that particular post to be beyond irritating - and his dismissal of the 'pc twaddle about islam' as being inconsequential to be not only dangerous, but also a pretty damned stupid stance for him to take. He knows better.

Funny how nobody has mentioned the central hypocracy you reference--that Islam should not be taught if teaching about Christianity (or other religions) is verboten.

So I guess one must ask if there are similar course materials in the Texas schools that discuss the teachings of Jesus. Muzzies and athiests would of course have fits about such a curriculum.

We're doomed if Sarah Palin doesn't throw her hat in the ring soon.
