Funny how nobody has mentioned the central hypocracy you reference--that Islam should not be taught if teaching about Christianity (or other religions) is verboten.

So I guess one must ask if there are similar course materials in the Texas schools that discuss the teachings of Jesus. Muzzies and athiests would of course have fits about such a curriculum.

We're doomed if Sarah Palin doesn't throw her hat in the ring soon.

This quote from Ace says it all for me:
"Did I mention this was a seminar for teachers, prepared with Harvard and UT at Austin? "

Anything prepared by the biggest bastion of left wing lunacy should be a red flag of the highest magnitude.

As to these two bloggers going after each other, well,

if Mr. Perry indeed supports the teaching of Islam ANYTHING in Public Schools, then he should immediately declare he is ineligible to run for President as currently we are not allowed to teach anything about Christianity either.

But the immediate disclosure referenced above from Ace using HARVARD as a bulwark of eminence to prepare that teacher's conference is enough for me to dismiss him altogether.

Don;t know how others feel about it, but that pretty well settles it for me!

Have a good day all!
