...Georgia is having a quiet preseason prep for their opening game with Boise State. They are the folks with the "blue" field. Ga has supposedly changed their uniforms to a tomato red. Pants, shirts, shoes, hats, probaly even the jock strap. Last time they did that they wore all black uniforms and went out and promptly got trounced.
...thus far Georgia has not had the usual half dozen starters either awaiting trial or serving time for felonies which is a good omen. No one has been caught accepting a cadilac from a supporter or a hummer from a cheerleader. It's probaly happened, but they haven't been caught.
...they are keeping stuff pretty much under their hat. Their opening game is with Boise State who is rated number 6 in the country. (Wishful thinking) Georgia is rated 28th or womewhere. Georgia "can" beat em. Hard to say whether they will or not. With them tomato red uniforms and that blue field folks may be barfing for months.
...I pick Georgia to win maybe a game or two more than half if they get past Noisy State. If they lose that first one they might just lay down the rest of the year. They could wind up in the Nothing Bowl Playing Nowhere State for the much coveted Mediocrity Trophy.
