I would be concerned about flying debris breaking windows. 80 MPH winds are very strong and you cannot drive a car in them without being blown around.
Can it lift the roof? Depends on how well it is secured. Likely the roof will stay put but I suspect plenty of roof damage is going to occur with the shingles anyway.
If you are staying, stock up on some batteries and flashlights and food that does not need to be cooked with electric appliances.
Chances are you will lose electric power. I told my daughter in Richmond last night to make sure their gas grill had propane in the tank because they could be using it to cook on.
BTW, I know ONE who spoke and the storm ceased and the waters calmed immediately. I'll talk to HIM about it for you.
