Yes, micro, it 'meant' several things.

Firstly - it showed the complete and total contempt that the Republican party has for the intelligence of we, the citizens of this country. Lipstick on pigs - all around - especially Rick Perry. It is an abomination that the Republican party puts forth these individuals as candidates for national public office - much less as 'conservative' candidates. It shows just how little the so-called 'Republican' party is actually bothering to listen to it's constituency and putting forth candidates that will actually HONOUR THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES.
Corrupt to the core. Tired of being treated as if we are so f'ing stupid we can't find our ways out of a paper bag. 'Cap, trade, and balance' - MY ASS - what a piece of SHIT that was - and being put forth by the 'Republican Party' as if it were from the 'tea party'.
IT WAS A BLATANT SELL-OUT PUT FORTH - and they didn't even bother to fight for the 'nothing' that 'cap, trade, and balance' didn't do. (triple negative or some such in there someplace.)

Secondly - it showed the utter shallowness of the current political 'debate' picture.

Thirdly - it showed the total corruption of national news media that is ALLOWED to use PUBLIC AIRWAVES to generate their massive incomes. Not a single one of them called a spade a spade.

PS: Perhaps B' will eventually be able to teach me not to be so reticent with expressing my feelings. *w*
