al Qaeda's might just be jumping the gun a little, making their move before the MB gets elected. But I would bet with Hamas, al Qaeda gaining strength in Sinai, there will be little to stop them unless it happens quickly and decisively. The caretakeer govt doesn't seem prepared to take action without a leader. Pushing back election hurts and helps Egypt -- helps political parties get established to face MB, but leaves the country vulnerable to 'terrorists' who will now have resources via the Sinai, it seems.
Another front for Israel, it's a good thing they have built up troops along that border..
