As an evangelical believer I can say with certainty that GOD has not forsaken HIS WIFE, Israel, nor his people, the Jews and the nation of Israel. HIS hand is all over this and noting goes unobserved.
Things are proceeding according to the prophets words and they must come to pass.
An all out assault will be launched against Israel eventually. It will appear bleak, but as in former days, the ONE who called forth this nation and gave the Promises to Abraham remains faithful to His chosen people and as he calls her, his wife.
When one has a wife, HE will protect her against and and all comers. Jehova is not finished with Israel by a long shot.
I believe one day I too will stand in the Mount of Olives in that blessed land that the Almighty has given HIS Word that He will keep by HIS Power.
Things must seem bleak for those Israeli Jews living there in this time. I would that they they searched the scriptures themselves and would see those precious promises anew and rejoice in them and not be afraid.
Against all odds this tiny little group of people has survived and miraculously in 1948 on wings of eagles they returned to the promised land that Joshua led the Israelites into across Jordan so long ago.
Like most genuine believers, I pray for the Jews and God's sovereign grace and protection upon them, for wisdom for the Prime Minister and for a stirring of the hearts of the people to return to God as they believed HIM even in days of old.
This is why the Gentiles are in debt to the Jewish people. Because through them, and Abraham in particular, shall all the nations of the earth be blessed because of the Messiah.
