Neat Vid, Due. Been a while since I researched the issue of 'touch screens' - but haven't seen any 'huge' announcements where I was hoping to see them. Perhaps you have. The need is for 'digitizing' touch capability - the screens exist already - can't remember the 'brand name', there's only one or two different ones - and they are goshdurn expensive. Accuracy - less than 1/100th of an inch, if memory serves. I do have a need for such a screen - the 'normal touch' screen is just way too loose - too large an area, not nearly enough accuracy. Two-three pixel accuracy is desired, but up to 5 pixel accuracy would be workable. 19+ inch screen size is also pretty much a 'must have' (23-27 would be better) - the bigger the better - and sub $1k in price. Have you seen anything like this - or heard of any on the drawing boards ? IOTW: The old-style high precision digitizing tablets - with the 'Corning' Display of the vid. *w*
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good ... |
