Good question - Which IS worse ?
Is it worse to TEACH evil - or to manipulate evil that is already there, and even attempt to make it worse ?
Not a self-answering question - but also, NOT open to manipulation and mis-characterization.
See - the CONNOTATION of 'teaching' is that one is 'introducing something BRAND new' to someone - as in 'teaching to read and write'.
With that CONNOTATION - I would have to state point blank that it is FAR worse to 'TEACH' evil to those that have not known it before than to manipulate that evil to one's own benefit.
Think that's kinda in line with what happened in the Scriptures, N'est Ce pas ? - as far as a certain people that managed to 'use' the evil of their enemies against others and against the same enemies. Of course, those folk ALSO suffered from 'severe blowback' when they MIS-used that manipulation.
Everything we humans do can be characterized as 'manipulation' of one sort or another - whether intentional or not.
Think the question just got answered - someplace in there.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good ...
