Due - chuckling a little - it's all in the words and how each individual perceives them. You find the above to be worse than saying we 'taught jihad/jihaad' - and
I find it to be a far more acceptable statement describing the 'truth' - perhaps because I believe the statement above to be not only accurate - but also precise.
I also think the above statement can also NOT be misunderstood/twisted/spun as is so easily done (and HAS been done) with the simplistic 'we taught jihad to the muslims'.
