Due, that's interesting, but I'd like to see it in the finished products I buy, like Pepsi, cakes, etc. If it's essentially a 1:1 sugar replacement, why hasn't it taken off in mainstream products? Put differently, why don't we dump sugar? This stuff more expensive (the corn variety, that is; seems like he birches should be left alone)?

Been in the markets for years. Our local Shoprite sells a product called 'Ideal - No calorie sweetener' and even puts it on sale occasionally.
