RP isn't anti-Israel. He's simply not pro-Israel, just as he's not pro-Arab. There is a difference.
RP is consistent with regard to foreign aid; we shouldn't use aid as a hammer to force other nations to do our bidding, and in any case we really can't afford it. His stance against aid to Israel (consistent with his stance against aid to the other side) is interpreted by many as anti-Israel.
Look at when the media has pushed the RP-as-antisemite meme and you'll see it is when he's voted consistently with his constitutional views against some pro-Israel legislation, but what you don't see is that he's also voted against similar legislation that favors the Islamists.
I've taken some time to analyze earlier gut-reactive comments/opinions and have concluded that RP and Bibi would get along quite well.
Anyway, unless or until Sarah Palin enters her dogsled in the race, Ron Paul is the candidate who best personifies my own views of what our Federal government should be doing.
