It is only my opinion, and not the one that counts, BUT......... if a person enters into public politics then they are subject to the same scrutiny and criticisms that the PRESS was expressly encouraged to do by none other than Thomas Jefferson and the founding fathers.
Criticism and pointing out their agendas, hidden and perceived as well as real, goes with the territory of being a politician.
If you want to be scrutinized under a microscope, decide to enter ANY kind of a political contest somewhere. This is not violating ANY copyright laws and should pose no problems.
