Linda - set up a trash can e-mail addy for use on all those sites that demand an e-mail addy for 'registration'. Eg. lkorrow-too-honest@yahoo.com -or- simply lkorrow@yahoo.com.

Check the e-mail from time to time to keep it alive.

Quite handy in this spam ridden age of 'we demand to know who you are and how to contact you (*1)' sea of busy bodies.

P.S. - On Yuku - they have an alternate method of verifying your e-mail addy where you simply click on the link of the 'please verify' web-site page, and it comes with an option to simply re-enter your site-id password, and verify it with the 'prove your a human capable of reading extremely fuzzy letters' box - which essentially bypasses the email verification completely. They count that as 'e-mail' verification - so a false e-mail addy could be used (maybe, I did not test this) to 'register' your user id.

(*1) So we can sell your personal info to whomever we desire since you are nothing but a freeloader on our site and not entitled to anything unless you pony up dinero. Just one of the multitude of differences between our long time friend, Bob - and a lot of the rest of the current world.
