Bob, understand completely. You have too much to loose - time, energy, peace of mind, opportunity cost, MONEY - and too damn little to gain.

I hope those bastards known as Righthaven end up in jail for extortion, attempted extortion, RICO violations, and internet terrorism - to name just a few of the charges that any CONSTITUTIONALLY MINDED District Attorney should be bringing against them.

Oh - and the other federal charges of course (besides RICO - which is a no-brainer in this case) - wire fraud, and criminal violation of the DMCA.

Thank you for the respite from the world you provided here.

This is hard, but i'm shutting down.

The constitution has protections, but the buffer is the courts.

I can no longer be the buffer between posters and plaintiffs.

I will miss having the site, but not the worry.

They go hand in hand.

I just have no skin in the game anymore and even the slightest liability swings the decision waaay to the 'close it' side.

It is for sale even after i pull the plug tomorrow.

With a little money and effort you could own your own little website!

Hurry hurry, step right up.
