Just a FWIW: I have ridden out two Hurricanes in the Gulf Coast. I have had at least four tornadoes come within 500 feet of me - one directly over my house, less than 50 feet above the roof. I have served as 'emergency operations co-ordinator' for oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico of a major oil corporation during a CAT-III hurricane. Unprepared - Hardly.
You might try re-reading those posts a few times, and start comprehending the REAL ISSUE - because it is perfectly obvious that in your short-sighted manner, you STILL DO NOT GET IT.
But go right ahead, Due - hammer away at me - and, by all means, listen closely for those sirens and make sure you 'tune-in' to your 'emergency broadcast network' whenever you feel a tad weak kneed. More power to ya, buddy.
Me - I tend to learn from the past - and gain a bit of wisdom in separating that which is important and can be affected from that which can not. Not to mention, understanding what TRUE preparedness is.
