Never Mind that Minor Debacle Behind the Successful Raid
by gardenserf
I posted here back in January 2011 about my concerns regarding a new deal with China that would transfer technology to them. I also cited the 2001 Hainan Island Incident.
Now let’s learn a bit more about the stealth helicopter lost during the OBL hit:

Where are the pieces? Who has them right now? (I’m beginning to sound like a nervous company commander who just found out a SINCGARS fill device was left on a dummy cord around a PFC’s neck who hasn’t been seen since he went to the DFAC for lunch –yesterday– and the convoy about to leave the FOB needs new crypto.)
How much of this stealth helicopter has already arrived in China?
Let’s rewind to a key quote from January 2011 with the section I put in bold back at that time:
The other risk is that Western technologies could help China play catch-up in military aviation —a concern underscored last week when the Chinese military demonstrated a prototype of its version of the Pentagon’s stealth fighter, even though the plane could be a decade away from production.
I have a feeling that the “decade away from production” has just been shortened. Significantly.
This situation gives new light to the “omigosh” moment White House photo:

"Snore" "This had better not end up on eBay" "Initiating Self-Destruct" "Oh Sh!t"
"That can't be good" "Omigosh" "I can't see what's going on" "I warned them not to use this yet"
Gives new meaning to spin and damage control, doesn’t it?
