Good Grief (to the post, not to you Linda) ... How many people have ANY idea what 1.2 quadrillion Btu translates into in terms of understandable quanti ? Is that Btu, btu, MMbtu - WTH is really meant by 'Btu'. Yeah, with a dictionary and several conversion factors you MIGHT be able to properly translate that (and the other numbers) into 'barrels of oil' or cubic feet of natural gas.
I was GOING to post the actual conversions - but am, myself, unsure of what the 'Btu' factor really is. .... AND .... WTF is the 'Electric Sector' ?????? Is that 'household electricity', 'industrial electricity', 'transportation electricity', 'commercial electricity' ???? HEY DUMBSCHITTS (meaning the EIEA) - WHAT THE F* is that ELECTRICITY being USED for ? The 'electic power sector' sure as HELL is not 'consuming' electricity - they ARE consuming Btu for PRODUCING electricity - but that ELECTRICITY is consumed in OTHER SECTORS. So the question to you DUMBSCHITTS is ... do your CONSUMPTION NUMBERS of 'btu per sector' for all the OTHER SECTORS include the BTU EQUIVALENTS of the 'ELECTRICITY' from the 'electric power sector' .... OR NOT ? Trivial ? Hell no it isn't trivial. How does one assign a 'btu consumption' factor to hydroelectric, wind, and solar ? Energy is energy, DUMBSCHITTS - your numbers are UN-INFORMATIVE - other than to numb people's brains with huge amounts of 'incomprehensibility'. Part of the SCARE 'em with HUGE numbers - keep 'em in a STATE OF FEAR about the INCREDIBLY LARGE AMOUNT of energy being consumed. Use the biggest magnifying glass ya can find to BLOW IT UP to where those numbers scare even the strong of heart. Thanks, Linda - it is always 'illuminating' to see how worthless some government facts and figures, generated at untold dollars of cost, really are.
Your post was of value - not being sarcastic. ![]() Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good ... |
