Maybe Obama's trying to outdo GW as the CEO Prez, by cross-training his execs? lol!

I heard Gates was pushing for Panetta, but Gates didn't look like a happy camper at all at Obama's press conference. In fact, he looked pretty upset to me.

From the outside looking in, I think Hayden would have been a good choice for Secretary of Defense. I don't know how he did at the CIA, but he seems impressive in discussions. Can't picture Gen. Patreaus at the CIA, but then he is intellectual.
