Don't stop at 1900.

Boss,
I also think that was by choice. Whether the individuals,
or the leaders . . . Chivalry and all that. I suspect that
choice was made because while very few women can make more
than one baby a year . . . One lusty guy could, theoretically,
get over a hundred 'ladies' pregnant in that same amount
of time.

Fair enough, but I was including the Revolution, war of 1812, Spanish American War, Civil War, WW1, Korea, WW2, Vietnam, the Middle east wars that are still ongoing.

While they might not quite total one million combines, at minimum it would be close....
SO, LOTS of hundreds of thousands of men.

And the broader point is the men do all the dying...

It is always the men who are on the front lines of battles in our nations history doing the fighting..
Don't stop at 1900.

Please, I realize there have been SOME females but they are so miniscule in numbers compared to the ground combat troops....

So I think if you went back and revisited all the other wars and added them to the collective, you may discover that the number is pretty high....
