Not to mention the cost of a pump that can pump water 360' straight up. I wouldn't think they would have to go that deep with the pump though

The well has been dug. They had to go 360' - nearly twice as deep as estimated. I'm bummed about that. The additional depth adds about $5,000 to the price. Hopefully, it will be high quality water, but the deeper a well is, the worse its water tends to be.

The well does draw 3.71 gallons per minute, which is decent, and the static water level is 60' below ground - which means that the well has substantial water in it to meet our needs.
