I'm not losing sight of your broader message - honest - but I can't let this slide:

Total U.S. deaths from war since 1900 are about 626,000. Of those, 433,000 were from combat. I have no idea what the other 193,000 died of or who they were, but they were mostly in WWI and WWII.

So... not millions.
